“Turning a utilitarian thing into something inspired.”
"It was great working with Lora on our kitchen. She really listened to what we said about what we were looking for and then she added her own ideas to the mix and came up with some really novel ideas. For example, the kitchen ceiling had a soffit that had to stay because of plumbing in the ceiling and Lora came up with a very sophisticated soffit design that matched with the island below and extended the idea of soffits around the whole kitchen, turning a utilitarian thing into something inspired. (And she made a cool paper model of the soffit design so the contractors could build it!) And the cabinets — she took a really unconventional space and fitted cabinets into in very interested and unexpected ways that really made our kitchen pop."

"My husband and I had our kitchen completely remodeled in the summer of 2009. Our kitchen is small in size (actual dimensions 14 x 12) and there was not a practical or cost effective way to addon additional space. We were seeking a design that would provide us with the maximum in efficiency for the space, but also have a cosmetic appeal.
We consulted with three different kitchen designers and ultimately selected the design and services of Monty Miller. Monty's design layout providedus with an efficient use of the work space (with the 'triangle' effect of the counter space, by the sink, stove & refrigerator) yet still had a sleek, elegant look to it.
